Former Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga., was confirmed Tuesday in a bipartisan Senate vote to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs.
According to Senate Cloakroom, operated by Senate Republican Cloakroom staff on X, and C-Span, Collins was approved by a 77-23 vote.
Collins was strongly supported by Senate Republicans who cited his decades of military service, the Daily Caller reported.
