Michael Whatley, chair of the Republican National Committee, told Newsmax on Monday that former President Donald Trump has a chance to shine in Tuesday’s debate against Vice President Kamala Harris.
“I think it’s a great opportunity for President Trump to lay out his vision for making America great again,” Whatley said on “Newsline.” “I think there are going to be millions of people who are going to be watching, breathlessly, waiting to see if Kamala Harris is going to double down on all of the failed policies that she’s championed over her career, or whether she’s going to flip-flop live on national TV.”
Whatley said Trump plans to communicate to voters about his plan to restore the southern border, rebuild the economy, and make America strong on the world stage.
