Ric Grenell to Newsmax: Devil in the Details With USAID

President Donald Trump’s envoy for special missions, Ric Grenell, told Newsmax on Monday that on the surface the U.S. Agency for International Development sounds like a good idea, but when you look closer, the devil is in the details.

“The whole idea for USAID sounds amazing on paper — just to promote our values and to help make America stronger. But the problem is when you look at the details of what’s been happening over the last 10 to 15 years, it really is a scandal,” Grenell told “Rob Schmitt Tonight.”

Grenell added that investigations into USAID “are starting.”
