N.D. Gov. Burgum: This Election Season for ‘Odd Couples’

North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum described this year’s election season as one for “odd couples.”

The Republican governor made the quip in response to former Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., and her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, endorsing Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris.

Burgum, in comments on NBC News’ “Meet the Press,” said that “overnight,” Democrats have embraced Cheney, who was once called “Darth Cheney.”
