Rep. Mike Kelly, R-Pa., told Newsmax on Friday that the final hearing of the House task force investigation into the assassination attempts against President-elect Donald Trump “got off center” due to the high emotions the incidents have brought out.
Rep. Pat Fallon, R-Texas, and Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe engaged in a heated exchange on Thursday over Secret Service procedures at the memorial for 9/11 in New York City on the anniversary of the attacks this year.
Kelly, who sits on the panel, said on “American Agenda” that the hearing “got off center,” adding that Fallon “is a very emotional person” and noting he “didn’t understand the blend” of the issues since Rowe “was not the director of the Secret Service at the time” of the incident about which he was being asked.
