It is “absolutely outrageous” that Poland has threatened to arrest Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he visits the country to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz on Jan. 27, but not expected, Kurt Volker, a former U.S. ambassador to NATO, said on Newsmax Sunday.
The threat was expected, Volker told Newsmax’s “Sunday Report,” because Poland and other countries in Europe have signed a treaty with the International Criminal Court for arrests on warrants.
“They have obligations to respect those decisions,” said Volker. “But it is absolutely outrageous and reflects an unreasonable antisemitic bias in the court.”
