The Health and Human Services website was among multiple federal health sites that went down and were at times inaccessible Thursday morning.
The sites experienced glitches amid the Trump administration’s communications freeze on agencies and their websites until they could be approved by a presidential appointee. The HHS website was back online by 10:30 a.m. ET, Bloomberg reported.
It’s unclear if the outage was related to the order giving by HHS acting secretary Dorothy Fink on Jan. 21 to halt routine work related to the website, according to the report.
