Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth traveled to Texas on Monday to visit troops at the southern border.
Hegseth, on his first trip since being confirmed by the Senate on Jan. 24, and Trump administration border czar Tim Homan, landed at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas.
“Wheels Down with @RealTomHoman visiting @fortblisstexas! Looking forward to meeting our great warriors and seeing the hard work they are doing securing our southern border. We will continue to deliver on this vital mission,” Hegseth posted on X Monday morning with video showing him and Homan being greeted on the tarmac by military members.
