The races in the key battleground states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin show a race so tight it cannot be called, making Tuesday’s debate critical, according to CBS News/YouGov polls released Sunday.
Vice President Kamala Harris leads Wisconsin by 2 points (51%-49%) and Michigan by 1 point (50%-49%), but Pennsylvania is a dead heat at (50%-50%). All three battleground polls are well within the margins of error, making those pivotal states statistical ties.
The polls went state by state to take the pulse of a razor-thin race.
