Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., defended Vice President Kamala Harris’ shifting policy positions as “pragmatic.”
Sanders said Harris is “doing what she thinks is right in order to win the election,” reported the New York Post.
“I don’t think she’s abandoning her ideals. I think she’s trying to be pragmatic,” Sanders told NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
