Tennessee’s Governor Haslam has vetoed a bill to make the official state book the Bible. While the bill had passed both the state senate and house, Haslam says “If we believe that the Bible is the word of God, then we shouldn’t be recognizing it only as a book of historical and economic significance.” Read more here.
