Two former members of President Donald Trump’s administration will appear as surrogates for Vice President Kamala Harris at Tuesday’s debate in Philadelphia.
Anthony Scaramucci, who briefly served as White House communications director, and Olivia Troye, who was national security adviser to former Vice President Mike Pence, will speak out against Trump and for Harris before the debate, a campaign official told The Hill.
“As Americans prepare to tune in for tonight’s debate, these former Trump staffers are warning that a second Donald Trump presidency would be far more dangerous and extreme than the first,” Harris Communications Director Michael Tyler said.
