Nearly six in 10 voters support former President Donald Trump’s recent visit to Arlington National Cemetery and a majority say Vice President Kamala Harris bears responsibility for 13 service members’ deaths during the military withdrawal from Afghanistan, Rasmussen Reports found.
Voters were asked whether it was appropriate for Trump to attend the Arlington service that honored 13 U.S. troops killed in a Kabul airport suicide bombing attack in August 2021.
Rasmussen Reports found that 59% of likely voters say it was appropriate for Trump to attend the service. Only 30% say the former president’s attendance at the Arlington service was inappropriate. Another 12% are not sure.
